“Bathroom Laminate Tile Flooring” – when I use this term does this conjure up images of locating the ideal source for toilet floor plans that will somehow magically place your whole bathroom remodeling project all together?
The place is to make a rough drawing of the toilet you are remodeling. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect – capture the overall shape of your bathroom. When you are finished the drawing should look like the form of your toilet floor plans.
Now you want to grab a helper and a tape measure and take dimensions of all of the walls in your toilet. You want to have the ability to use these dimensions to make what is known as a drawing to actually use on your toilet floor plans.
Next you can grab some chart paper and layout the drawing to scale. Draw a rectangle on the graph paper that is sized to a scale if your toilet is essentially a rectangle 10 feet wide by 8 feet deep. You could place this floor plan in an 8 ” x 11″ sheet of chart paper by letting each inch over the drawing signify one foot on your actual floor plan.
You might want to create copies of this basic floor plan, once you’re satisfied that you’ve got the basic form of the floor plan drawn to scale. You can sketch different fixtures onto among those drawings and be able to erase the fittings.
Now you can start drawing in to scale as you can, the fixtures that your bathroom will have, The sink/vanity unit the bathroom and any other fixtures you need. Mark the location of the drain line only for reference sake.
It’s possible to cut out bits of paper the size of your primary fixtures if you want to try “playing around” with the structure of the fixtures.
